How to VPN into campus networks

In order to remotely access CED computers/servers from outside the campus network, you will need to download, install, and configure the new campus VPN on your computer/laptop.

First, download the VPN software the from this link: https://vpn.berkeley.edu/global-protect/getsoftwarepage.esp

Next, install the software using the following instructions depending on your OS:

OSX,  Windows   Chrome OS   iOS   Android

Finally, when the client pops up, connect using your CalNet ID and passphrase.  You will also need to authenticate using two factor authentication.

Congratulations, you can now access CED resources while away from campus!
